College students and those seeking temporary employment are encouraged to apply! Required Skills: Production and warehouse experience is helpful Experience with automated, high speed production equipment to include conveyors, packaging and/or filling machinery, assembly machinery, or similar is a major plus. Production Workers will work in a variety of roles within the brewery in a fast paced, frequent production change- over environment. Production Workers will inspect product, monitor machinery, assist in change-overs, handle materials, and maintain the sanitary conditions of the facility and equipment. Must learn to perform these tasks in a manner to assure the safety of themselves and their co-workers and learn to follow set procedures for performing tasks, referred to as Good Manufacturing Practices or GMPs. Must be able to lift 50lbs without restriction Potential hires will be subject to a background screening, drug & alcohol screening, and physical prior to starting employment. Shift Assignment: Summer help employees may train on 1st shift, but will likely be assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift. Applicants must be willing to accept work on any shift. Overtime, to include weekend work is frequently available. Salary: Employees will make $15.00/hr. This is a temporary position with the Lion Brewery starting in May and ending in late August, early September. Full time employment with the Lion Brewery is not guaranteed at the end of the summer.
