City of Pittston Launches Mortgage Assistance Program: The purpose of the program is to assist low-moderate income households with foreclosure prevention. Pittston residents who are granted assistance will be provided help for 3 months of mortgage payments, up to $800 monthly. Payments will be made directly to the financial institution.
